Ghoom Taana is a musical short film about two neighbors, two cities, two nations and their journey towards self discovery and peace. Its a visually rich portrait shot in both India and Pakistan. There are two main characters, an Indian woman (Nandita Das) and a Pakistani man (Salman Ahmad) whose families were dislocated during partition.
Through various scenes of conflict and resolution both realize the universal face of each other's humanity and culture which transcends religion and politics.
